Muon, or more commonly Mu, is a courier program, and a damn good one. Mostly she's good because she has a higher storage capacity than most, and because once she has a file, she has no way of reading it herself, not without a terminal or a storage hex or cube to put it in, and also the right cipher or access codes to open it. She's fast, too, knowing the city layout and all the best shortcuts. She could have been a Lightcycle racer, and she had thought about it, once or twice. But the truth was that she liked being a courier, it was what she'd been written for.

Before the Coup and the Purge, she worked mostly with building schematics and historical backups, things that would take too long to transfer by terminal. After things went south she worked with the resistance where and when she could, and mostly she survived by working for anyone who needed her. She was hijacked more than once for the information she was carrying, by Resistance and blackguard alike, and as she never knew what it was she was carrying, she was always let go again.

At least, that was until the Resistance realized they could use her as bait and misdirection, giving her falsified information on their movements or gathering places and sending her somewhere obvious so that she would be picked up by the blackguard. This worked the first few times, actually, but it was a trick that was used too often, and it didn't take Clu long to pick up on it. Initially she was slated for rectification, but he realized that it would be more beneficial to implant her with a tracer and let her go about her business as usual, leaving her as the unwitting catalyst of multiple raids, and, in a way, leaving her single-handedly responsible for much of the Resistance falling into Clu's hands.

Mu, also called 'Mushi-mushi', 'Muumuu', 'Mush' or 'Red' depending on who you ask, is a New Yorker born and raised. She was riding a bike almost before she could walk, so it just made sense to her to seek out a job as a messenger.
She's worked for a few different agencies, leaving either because they went out of business, or just because it wasn't a good fit for her, or in one case because she'd moved all the way across town.

She's good at what she does, and she will absolutely get your delivery there on time, come hell or high water.
